I queried the top 1000 users and added their gold in the character + bank and divided by 1000 to get an average and the result is 3.266 G
With that in mind I truly believe that we need a way of getting some gold in circulation. Increasing the amount of gold given by quests is one option, which I may implement.
Another thing I have in mind is also adding a system to allow purchases of lets say 50.000g a week (using RCOINS on the f7 store for example) and watching the numbers/market. I need to figure out a way to re-balance the price based on demand tho. Otherwise the price is gonna be either too low or too high.
With this alternatives combined I think we can mitigate the gold shortage or fix it once and for all. I guessed the gold/week numbers as well as I'm not really sure how much gold should I add to this said "store". Any ideas on how to do the math for those?
Are there any games that implement the same auto-pricing mechanics that I'm proposing? If so, could you guys name some?
